Entretien
A nice experience. First, HR introduced the company and their main task of the department. Then he asked about basic personal information like what courses you took in school and some questions like describing your recent project.

Round 1 - Phone Screener
Round 2 - Data Science Challenge
Round 3 - Interview with Director of Data Science and Senior Data Analyst
Round 4 - Interview with Director of Data Science and Data Engineer
The questions were well framed and thoughtful but hard. The phone screener was easy and simple which was done by a person in HR.
The take home data science challenge was intense but interesting.
The interview with the Director of Data Science was highly technical. The interview itself was setup comfortably and in a conversational manner which was different and better than other companies I’ve interviewed with around this time. The director was recruited from Carnegie mellon university and was clearly smart. The questions were very deep and required you to know the algorithms inside out which I don’t think even my professors would know. He explained them calmly and made me feel comfortable even when I didn't know the answers and at the end took time to teach me the concepts clearly. At the end he made me feel like I was a part of the team even during the interview process. The Senior Data Analyst and Data Engineer asked questions about my past experiences, projects, and my interest in joining the company and were genuinely interested to know more about my passion.
It was a difficult interview and I sadly ended up not getting the role.
