An HR rep called me a few days after applying online. I was asked a few questions verifying my experience/job preferences. The rep told me she was going to forward my application to the unit manager and if the unit manager was interested, I would be contacted for an interview with her/him. I was called about a week later to schedule an interview with the unit manager. I interviewed the next day- it was a panel interview on the unit with the unit manager, charge nurse, two staff RNs, and a tech. They each took turns asking questions from a prepared script. I was asked around 12-15 questions (some were follow-up questions). I was called the next day with an offer.

I first called with the recruiter to set up an interview and with what unit I would like to work on. I met with the manager, she asked behavioral questions. I also got to ask questions about the unit and then shadowed on the unit after

What is a difficult situation you’ve been in and how did you handle the conflict?
HR phone interview, then a Teams meeting interview. Multi-panel interview process. Doesn't last longer than 30 minutes. Questions about your nursing skills and experiences, background in education and leadership roles.
virtual and peer interview. Not hard. They need nurses. Not a bad place to work, just not get paid well. Good for new grad since it is a teaching hospital.
