I was initially contacted by a LinkedIn recruiter regarding the role, and two weeks later, a phone interview was scheduled with the hiring manager. However, the manager didn’t attend the meeting, which raised concerns about the process. After reaching out to HR, the interview was rescheduled—only to be canceled again just two hours before the new time. At that point, I felt a sense of relief. It became clear that investing further time and energy in a company that doesn’t demonstrate respect for its candidates wasn’t aligned with my values.
