I applied while I was living in France. After an email conversation with the CTO who answered my questions about the job and the company, I went through a tech test for the browser automation software I would use on the job. The test was very well built, and I had a lot of fun with it. The company then told me they were interested in meeting me and paid for my travel expenses to come in for a face to face interview. I got to chat with the CTO, a DevOps engineer, a product manager and a MEAN(web full-stack) engineer. They demo'd some of their past work, we talked about the code and answers I submitted for the tech test and then we did a mock sprint planning. The CTO wrote back to me quickly and the company made arrangements to help me with moving to London.
