One on one interview with regional manager if you pass first round with the current store manager. Dress appropriate for the position. Seems to be much more lacks these days but take pride in how you look. Will take place in the ‘diamond room’ to allow privacy

I applied for a store manager position. I received a call about a week after applying from a hiring manager. She seemed a bit unprofessional. It appeared she did not read my resume at all. She asked me if I had any sales or jewelry experience. On my resume it showed that I was an experienced jewelry store manager. My second interview was with the next manager up in the hiring process. This second manager was quite snide and extremely arrogant. She was very condescending throughout the interview. At this point I had no interest in accepting any offer from Helzberg Diamonds. All I kept thinking was how horrible this company must be to work for. Then after going through all of this I'm told I'm being interviewed for a sales associate position. I explained I applied for the store manager position, and in my first interview we only spoke about the store manager position. The response I was given was they like to start people at the ground floor and work them up. This bait and switch was just another red flag for me, and it further confirmed that Helzberg Diamonds would not be a company I would want to work for.
