I was approached by a third-party recruiter that said the company was looking to move fast on this position. It took 3 weeks before the introductory interview was scheduled. Afterwards I got an indication that there would be a "next step". It took another 3+ weeks after that before anyone got back to me and I was told the company decided not to move forward with me. The feedback they gave as to why didn't even sound like me or the interview I had. In the meantime I received a great offer from another company that seemed more enthusiastic and organized so it worked out for the best, but it was one of the more odd recruiting experiences I've had.
