Over phone interview and then in person. Typical questions. They want you to explain the consultative sales experience you have, so be prepared to explain how you have done so in the past. The job will be much more tech based than you might expect. Go in prepared on the products GoDaddy has besides just domains.

I must say this was a very strenuous process. However, it feels like you've really accomplished something once it's completed. 1st, I applied via sending in my resume' & received an assessment to complete. After completing that assessment I was contacted by a very enthusiastic recruiter whom went into great detail about the position. He asked about 5-10 questions about myself & only a few about Go Daddy which I really respected. He then offered me an in person interview & sent me a document containing the benefits being offered. The interviewer walked me through the location first which was very relaxing because normally interviews are more like interrogations. The interviewer once again asked me more about myself and what I'm about than what I can do for Go Daddy & I really started to feel like I was in the right place at the right time. I was not immediately offered the position because next was a Backround Check that included criminal check & Employment verification. I have no criminal record so I laughed at that part of the process, but the employment verification was tricky. Go Daddy uses a 3rd party service called GIS so make sure you have your tax records to prove employment if they can't verify, as well as phone numbers and addresses for companies you've listed on your resume'. The whole on boarding process took me almost 5 weeks & 2 & a half weeks of it was verification of employment alone so be prepared! The last step was filling out legal forms via email & that was it! I go bowling with the company soon which was offered after being offered the position. Great Company so Far!

I am 25 years old and currently have two daughters (2 years old and 5 months old). My husband and I own our own business, and I have been operating that for the past 3 years but decided that I could benefit from corporate bureaucratic experience. I spent a lot of time researching companies on the FORBES 100 list that were located in AZ. I decided on GoDaddy. I am a GoDaddy customer so I already knew a little about their business, but I decided to do more extensive web research as well. I researched almost all pages on the company website, reviews about the various positions I applied for, and news articles on GoDaddy. This researched helped me improve my resume and cover letter. I spent a lot of time filling out the online application choosing my words carefully. I was contacted immediately (next available business day because I filled out the application on the weekend). I would consider the first contact by phone an unofficial phone interview, so be prepared for that. After the unofficial phone interview I was contacted again and the recruiter extended me an in person interview. Multiple questions were asked about my previous work experience in relation to dealing with people and sales. Being able to represent yourself and your experiences, both good and bad ones, would be beneficial for GoDaddy's interview process. The recruiter must have been trained not to give away too many clues as to whether you are hired or whether another interview would occur. My only indication that something would happen was: "We will be in contact with you by the end of the week but most likely sooner." I graciously encouraged my excitement about being contacted and thanked the recruiter for his time. A couple days later the recruiter called me and extended me another interview with one of the deciding managers in the department. Both interviews occurred in the same week. Both interviews had very similar questions too. Most of the questions revolved around my previous work experience and asked: "Describe a situation where you had to solve xyz at abc inc." However, these questions came after I had already spent about 10-15 minutes chatting with the recruiter leading the conversation openly providing information about myself and experiences. I focused on having a conversation as though I were at a coffee shop with a newly formed relationship hoping to evolve that relationship into something more than acquaintances. Taking out all the jargon, I basically sold myself as a person they want working for them and proceeded to describe why while at the same time praising GoDaddy as a company. My experiences as a GoDaddy customer have always been top notch (not lying here at all they really have been) so I used that as an example for the question: "Why do you want to work for GoDaddy?" My technological, sales, and business savvy background definitely helped my two in person interviews flow smoothly. If you are looking to apply at GoDaddy I would recommend being technologically sound (i.e. knowing about all the products GoDaddy offers and what those products are actually for in relation to possible customers) not afraid of talking or selling (all GoDaddy positions are ultimately in sales so you must be comfortable talking a lot on the phone and in person with people), and have relevant experiences whether that be college or real world. GoDaddy is not looking for people afraid of work. The corporate centers are upbeat, loud, fun, and filled with hard working dedicated loyal staff.
