I debated leaving this review as I'm not one to do this sort of thing, but I feel this information should be out there. I was ghosted after a lengthy interview process that I put tons of effort into. It particularly stings as someone in the talent space myself as I know how simple it is to reject a candidate. I made it all the way to the end of the interview process, received positive feedback the whole time. Put tons of effort into an assessment presentation - got great feedback. At the end of the process the recruiter told me I did a great job but to check back in a month when they had a better sense of headcount. Fine, no problem. I waited a month before following up with the recruiter. Never heard back. Followed up with the recruiter 3 more times to silence. I also followed up with the hiring manager several times and the coordinator as well, also never got a response. I even tried messaging some members of the interview panel politely on Linkedin - no response. I am truly disappointed. I was really excited about Engine and to not even get the respect of a rejection is deeply hurtful. It had me second guessing whether this was an authentic interview process and whether I had fallen victim to one of those interview scams you hear about. I really enjoyed meeting everyone that was part of my process but this was simply unprofessional.
