There are 2 rounds 1st, initial screening interview, talk about DoorDash and the position, 2nd, on the phone with the hiring manager. Talk about the department and the position. Also, ask about my background and past experiences.

What have you done in your current and previous job? Why do you think you will be a good fit?
They reached out to me (cold) for a phone screen and then didn’t reply to set up availability until I reminded them. I asked for a job description and was ignored. The phone screen switched to a zoom call and he dove into interview questions - a pre interview to decide if he wanted to interview me. I found it to be really pompous, and disrespectful of my time - like they liked to catch people off guard.

Had a recruiter phone screen very soon after applying on LinkedIn. Received a take home case study with a very large data set and was asked to prepare recommendations in a non-slide format.

Poor interview process. Recruiter contacted me to chat. Informed me that they would be sending me an assessment to take and moving me on to the next steps. Ultimately recruiter did not send an assessment and after multiple follow-ups, got ghosted. Company has a reputation of ghosting you mid-process, buyer beware.
