Applied for role on 4/4/2023. Recruiter reached out via email on 4/17 (twice in same day before I had a chance to respond), seemed to be urgent she speak with me. We connected first thing in the morning on 4/18 for initial screening. That same day, I was invited to a Teams meeting which took place after hours with the hiring manager. She was pleasant, it was a great conversation. I did get the feeling that I was missing something that I’m sure was easy to pickup / learn quickly and that may not have been an option for her. I was hopeful to hear next steps. Sent an email to the recruiter two days later asking for an update to which I never received any response. Finally on 6/03/2023, I received the automated email update that I hadn’t been selected to move forward with the next phase of the process. The length of time it took to receive an update was quite disappointing. I don’t plan to apply with this company for any future opportunities.
