This is about the 1st technical round for the Senior Principal Frontend Engineer. The interviewer seemed hardly interested in hiring anybody. For him, the interview was a platform to be cocky about his knowledge and show-off how much he knows about Javascript. He kept using phrases like, "No you don't know this", "No you should do it my way", "No you are not good at this", "No you cannot use the solution that is in your mind", "You cannot solve this complex problem". It just made me wonder how that person works with his peers (especially the ones looking up to him) in day to day life. Anyway, apparently the interviewer just wanted people who knew ECMA 11 :) However, when the expectation was to know ECMA 11, I wonder why he was interested to have me write a method to flatten an array, when such a method is already present as of ECMA 2019. What an oxymoron ! He laughed off at my answers and solutions 4 times during the call, which probably told me that he is basically a manner less person without any corporate etiquettes. Anyway, having gone through what I just went, I would hardly recommend anyone to consider pursuing an opportunity with them, because if this is the attitude that your panelists are portraying to the outside world, I can only imagine what the rest of the organization would operate like. Anyway, Dear HR team of Connectwise, kindly read this review and give your super talented panelists some corporate soft skills training so that they know how to present themselves in the outside world. They may have skills, but their attitude is atrociously poor.
