I went through a five step interview (indeed trial questions, phone screening, two interviews with an in-office skills test) before they offered me a position. I asked them about their benefits and PTO, etc, during the offer call and the ceo just brushed it off as “you’ll learn about that during onboarding ”...as if it was unimportant for accepting the job. I would have made 19.50/hr, working six days a week for a large chunk of the year, in what appeared to be a very high stress and socially isolated position. I asked them to email me their benefits info before I could accept...waited the weekend...reached out again to see what was up, and never heard from them again.
I am so mad I wasted my time on this unprofessional company. Everyone seemed so nice, but I cannot fathom working for an organization which can’t even give me the time of day MID-JOB OFFER.
