Submitted my application and resume online..recieved a call from HR for a phone interview. I was then contacted the same day to schedule a 1-1 interview with the branch manager. I have to say this was one of the more difficult interviews I have been through. The questions definitely require some thought and they want specific examples. I found the management there to be pompous and condescending. The whole branch seemed unfriendly and cold. Did not get the inviting feeling an interviewee hopes to receive at a potential job. I have been on a couple interviews since with other banks and the vibe was a complete 180 from Charter One. I was never contacted back about the position..not that I would have accepted after the way I was treated in the interview. For the best though..I received a great offer from another bank soon after.

First you have to complete an online assessment, that once completed is valid for 6 months. If you passed the assessment they schedule an in-person interview at the branch where they ask questions about your education and experiences , to tell about yourself, also role play where you need to respond using the STAR method and its also good to do a little bit of research about the bank and the credit cards they offer.

There were 2 interview processes which included one over the phone that asked generic questions and the other in person with the branch manager. Very smooth process and heard back within a week.

The interview process was hard for a teller position that wasn’t anything special. The interview was a bit rude. I was professionally dressed and have a degree in business yet she was short in wording and never got a call or email after.
