To be able to apply for a job, you have to undergo a pre-interview to qualify for the teacher pool. This consists of a 15-minute interview, in-person or via phone. The questions they ask you may vary widely. If you do not pass the interview, there is 6-month period where you must wait before taking the pre-interview again. I believe the list of questions are standard, as well as ad-lib, or made-up on the spot, at the whim of the interviewer.
