      Interview was super personable! Felt easy to talk to the hiring manager and he explained the job description in depth and very clear which made me feel good about the potential role in itself. He explained the company culture great and overall it seemed like a great company to work for.

      Three interviews. Huge waste of my time and energy. Just like everyone has mentioned here, everyone applies for the opportunity to do genuinely good work with teens struggling with mental health. Unfortunately, it feels like it’s not an actual priority for this company. Neither is taking care of their employees. Never met a recruiter. My point of contact was my hiring manager, who was very nice but clearly in over her head. The second interview was with someone who also had no idea what to do or say in an interview, but was a manager on the team. She seemed uncomfortable with any questions regarding LGBTQIA+ community, despite the large majority of their clientele identifying as such. She struggled with pronoun usage and it was incredibly off putting. Was given a large case study as a presentation for a third interview with three people. It was something I put an incredible amount of effort into, and I was continuously praised for how well I did. I was told I’d be contacted by Friday, heard nothing, then got a random call one evening on a weekend from the hiring manager who was in her car headed somewhere. Incredibly weird. I was lowballed about 20k from what I had initially told them was my baseline, then told they couldn’t do that, despite knowing in the beginning that’s what I was looking for. Despite receiving the verbal offer, there were just too many red flags for me to even humor the idea of taking a pay cut for this role. I’d like to add that I was connected with the then head of recruiting, and we did an interview just to have an idea of how they could do better. He admitted that there was absolutely no structure and he was brand new and trying his best to fix it. He’s no longer with the company, so I’m guessing it was beyond fixing. Looking at newer reviews, that seems to still be the case. I was given a recruiter, but he seems pretty disinterested and/or overwhelmed by his job and can never find me anything within my pay range. It doesn’t seem like Charlie pays anyone very well, considering I was told by the hiring manager that managers on her team don’t even make 75K. I had spoken with an outside recruiter who had told me they’d just been rewarded a large amount during their funding round, so there’s no reason not to pay your employees a livable salary. I would just steer clear. It’s such a good mission, and something I wanted so badly, but it isn’t worth it. There are some really great people there, but it’s all so messy. I hope they get it together soon.

      Entretien

      I had virtual interviews but they were well organized and personable. The first and second interview were both in the same week and the entire hiring process was streamlined and doable. They asked me good questions and were informative about the job.
