Interviewed with recruiter, then hiring manager, two technical interviews, and finally a VP level product-focused interview. Behavior interviews were straightforward and two-sided, so I got to ask a lot of questions and learn about the team. Technical interviews were in coderpad and consisted of designing a data model from raw data in one interview, and then doing some more data modeling and answering business questions in the next interview. The recruiting support was great throughout.
My dealbreaker and why I ultimately decided not to accept the offer is because Charlie Health only offers 15 days of PTO. In our great year of 2026 and after my experience in past jobs I really expect more flexibility. The limited time off plus other policies and general vibe check indicated to me that work-life balance isn't a cultural value here.
