The process took an excessive amount of time from March to May. Zoom call with an outside recruiter (who sourced me) Zoom call with hiring Mgr (a Dir.) and SVP Sales Onsite interviews with hiring Mgr (a Dir.) and SVP Sales (required 4 hours of driving) Other Onsite interviews with CEO, Dir. Marketing and VP Sales ( another 4 hours of driving) Follow-up Zoom call with hiring Mgr, shared she received very positive feedback from the onsite meeting, discussed internal transitions taking place, but I was her #1 candidate, but to please be patient. Weeks of nothing... Call from an external recruiter saying they are changing the position and requiring someone in VT. I emailed the hiring mgr, and I got a reply that she wanted to have a Zoom discussion about changes and potential opportunities after the organization settled down. Then.... zip. I had discussions with the recruiter, and he stated his company would never work with them again because of the "appalling way they treated me."
