Fairly straightforward. Several technical questions, but nothing too difficult if you know what you are doing. Several rounds with different team members, but all scheduled well in advance, so they can fit into your schedule.
- What have I worked on in the past

Easy if you are referred by some you know. Good benefits and 401k. Company culture is dependent on where you work. KC is a good place to be. Each office has its own culture which can be challenging.
- Why do you want to come to the company?

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Burns & McDonnell (Kansas City, MO) en oct. 2019
The first interview was a phone interview by HR. He asked me to email him with answers to some questions, such as, why do you want to work for Burns and Mac, what skills do your bring, etc. Then the HR person submitted my resume to what is called the hiring team. I then interviewed with this team in person at the KC office.
- Why do you want to work at Burns and Mac.

Phone interview with the Bobs. Seemed very disorganized and disingenuous. Interviewers seemed like they were forced into the phone conversation and wanted out of it asap. I was not very impressed with the company or the staff.
- How would your past experience benefit our company?

Talked to several differnt people on project including Engineering Manager, Construction Manger and Program Manager. Very little discussion about technacal ability, more on the management side. Client wanted to know technical details and hiring manager wanted to know leadership and org skills. They gave me a lot of information about the work I would be performing and the people I would be working with. Took very good care of me while I was interviewing and traveling.
