J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez BambooHR (Lindon, UT) en sept. 2020
Entretien
It was entirely online through HireVue. You watch videos of a person asking a question and it gives you 30 seconds, then films your response. You can’t redo questions so once it’s submitted, it’s done. It’s odd to never work with a real person but it is nice to do an interview on your own time.

Question 1
They ask a lot about your salary’s requirements but don’t shut down if you’re over what they are offering, which I thought was nice.

The HireVue interview went fine. A few timed questions, and a small excel project. The negative experience I had was when it came down to interviewing with an actual person. BambooHR claims to implement their values and have an excellent company culture, but my interview with the hiring manager was the most impersonal experience I’ve ever had with a company. They didn’t try to get to know me, or make time for any type of conversation at all. Instead it was a 45 minute interview with back to back grueling questions, an “Okay, thank you.” after my response, and then onto the next question. I decided right then and there that there was no way I would want to work under this manager. Fortunately I was not given an offer. I completely understand asking tough questions, but providing a personable experience while doing so goes a long way.
