There are 5 rounds:
1. CV
2. Phone screening (I received a call from a LinkedIn recruiter in Malaysia, he asked several questions related to my ambition to work for BAT and why I am appropriate for this program, lasted for 30 mins).
3. Initial interview (2 interviewers, one from HR Department and one from the department you are applying for)
4. Assessment Center
I was sponsored for maximum of VND 5,000,000 ($220) to the headquarter of BAT in Vietnam. The AC lasted for the whole day, from 9am to 5pm.
1.1 Briefing
1.2 Group discussion (15 mins individually analyze data & 40 mins discuss in a group of 8 people. We should work in a group to come out with the best solution. The case about a beverage company who want to become No. 1 in the market, based on data provided, the group need to all agrees on 1 supplier among 6 suppliers).
1.3 Individual presentation (each candidate was provided the same case, which was about choosing 1 market that the Co. should invest $10m in. We had 30 mins to self analyze and presented it in front of 2 assessors). Talk only, no presentation.
1.4 Individual presentation. (Each was provided a computer along with an assignment, we were required to come up with a innovative idea and a plan of action).
