Received a invitation to speak with a recruiter about the position, I answered questions and he gave the overall run down on the job. Said I should receive the next steps by the latest Monday. Monday came, nothing, sent out an email to see what are the next steps, only to be told that they are going with candidates who’s background is more aligned with the role. Why even review my resume, and have me speak with you if my background didn’t align in the first place. Never got a chance to showcase my skills.
