The initial round was based on resume short listing. Most of the students with CGPA>=8 got selected for the written test.
The written test was divided in two sections-
i) 30 mins - 30 Aptitude Questions
These were not so straightforward apti questions but required some practice. It would be good if you do practice it well before the placement seasons kicks off.
ii) 1:30 mins - 60 Technical Questions
Most of the questions were based on digital design, MUP, general electronics. It was not that simple. It also had a lot of programming questions (in C) too. Make sure you revise C thoroughly.
3 Rounds of interviews for the shortlisted students -
i) Technical Round - The discussion started with the general understanding of microprocessors, their architecture, etc. Since I did six months internship at Nvidia, they were also interested in that project. There were a lot of cross questions on whatever I was saying, be sure you prepare it well. Then a general resume based questions. I was also given to write (on paper) some codes in C, ASM, Verilog and System Verilog. There were questions related to DSA as well (it is really a plus having some basic knowledge of Data structures and algorithms).
ii) Managerial Round - He asked me variety of puzzles. Some were trivial and for some I didn't had any idea. He concentrated more on the approach rather than the final answer. Very basic technical questions were asked like difference between bandwidth and throughput.
iii) HR Round - General HR questions. No puzzles or anything.
