I was contacted six days after submitting my application online by email to schedule a 10-minute meet-and-greet time (the date was preselected to the next, next day) with the talent acquisition/hiring manager for a part of Toronto. The email itself wasn't clear as to whether it was a formal interview, an informal chat or a resume drop off as it hinted at all three. I wore a sweater by Wilfred and pants by Wilfred Free which the hiring manager noticed and commented on. We had what was more like a conversation than an interview in the Aritzia lounge area. She was super friendly, engaged, and gave me her full attention. We ended up speaking for about 15 minutes because I had a question for her at the end. She said I'd be contacted within the week if I was selected. (The thing is, I wasn't sure if at that point there would be a second interview or if I was in.. I would have asked but there was a girl waiting for her meet-greet session that was after mine) I'm still waiting for the week to be up. I'll see if I can update this once it's over.
