Recruiter reached out and we had a short phone introduction (about 15 min). A few days later I ended up talking to another consultant on the phone for about 30 minutes. After that they asked me to come in for an in-person interview. I spoke to two VPs and two consultants for 30 minutes each. In the in-person interview, most of the time it was just open communication. Although they did ask me about my background, I often found myself asking more questions than they did. I think that they understood that my background was a good fit at this point, and just wanted to ensure that I was personable and had the necessary soft-skills to work with clients.
My interview process is different from engineers, who I've heard have to undergo an assessment of their technical skills.
Recruiters and interviewers were extremely knowledgable and professional, and the whole process went very smoothly. They were responsive when it came to my questions, and flexible with my start date. Although the company's mission and the work I'd be doing really drove my decision to go there, I think that the way they handled this whole process really pushed me to accept the offer - it seemed like they really wanted me on board, and were willing to work with me. Overall, this provided me with a very positive outlook on the company.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Reason for leaving current company, work experience/background - basic interview questions.
The interviewer was incredibly rude, scoffed at answers I gave, and appeared to not care at all about anything I had to say. Did not look like he wanted to be there at all.

Question 1
How do you explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience? What is Snowflake? What is a data pipeline? How do you approach a problem?

I applied for the functional and technical consultant role. I completed the phone screening and was told that I would be considered for both positions depending on my technical acumen. I expressed my preference for the functional position.
Upon completing the next interview, which seemed like a technical assessment, I was informed that I would no longer be considered for the technical consultant role. I asked about my candidacy for the functional / generalist role and was not given a response.
I was disappointed that they were not transparent in the interview process. It seems like I was being interviewed for the technical role the entire time and was not given consideration to the functional role at all.
