J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amgen en juil. 2025

      Entretien

Today was my last interview in this process to enter Amgen. Started on July 4th, today is July 25th. I will know the final decision by August 1st, next friday. First interview was a somewhat standard screening interview but to a certain level a bit "to the point" as the interviewer was someone with some knowledge of both the goal of the recruitment process and of the Scrum framework. Some questions about SAFez about Scrum, about tools and about behaviour toward the teams I was into. I knew I passed immediately, as he told me that he would forward my application to the next person. Second interview happened three days later, on a Monday, July 7th. Super fluid, enjoyable, tech to some point but with a somewhat extense part on how shall be the relation between the team and scrum master, as well as some questions on how to approach dificult situations. Questions about scrum/kanban decisions and when should each one be applied were also present. I felt AWESOME during the interview, the guy was from UK, he was super friendly and objective, clear and empathic. Then there was a pause of around a week and on Monday 14 I had the third interview with another manager, from the US, West coast. I confess this interview was bit hard for me because the network conditions weren't great, I had some interruptions by people on my door bell, she was having image issues, we were both having some camera issues, it was hard for me to read her lips, a technique I use when videocalls have sound issues... frankly I thought I was going to be eliminated. I answered right to all questions, but you know that feeling you have when things don't go smooth? Yeah. And then it took two weeks until I heard from them again. I asked my recruiter but he didn't replyed until the day I got an automated message on July 23rd from their automated AI, inviting me to the meeting today (25th). This was the best meeting in the whole process. I was interviewed by two guys from USA, and this time no flaws neither in video nor sound. All went perfect. The conversation was fun, fluid, I know I didn't answer exactly to everything (mainly because we use diferent jargons from company to company) but I think the idea was passed correctly. We stayed for some more minutes after the meeting because we decided to do so (being a scrum master, my eye was also on the clock ;) so when time arrived I asked if they wanted to end or allow some more minutes, which they did). We decided to wrap it up after 7 minutes and some laughs. Let's hope they choose me :) Summing up: Tl;Dr: Process consisted of a screening, two tech interviews, one fit interview, took a month from first contact to final decision. Rounds were nice, easy going, some tech stuff, most personality and fit assessments. Loved it.
