J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Agoda (Bangkok) en juin 2017

After the technical interview I received a coding challenge from development manager. I believe I completed the challenge in a wise way. I believe I have done it successfully because I passed lots of coding challenges of leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon until now. Anyways, after completing the coding challenge, I sent an email to the dev. Manager that I completed the challenge, but there was no response. After ~10 days I sent another e-mail that if the process is OK and my works are evaluated. There was no response again. Then I sent another e-mail to recruiting coordinator about there was no response to submitting my code. She was out of the office and just after she returned I received an automated standard e-mail from no-reply HR email. It template was looking like the e-mails that I received in the first application phases, it is absurd to receive such an e-mail after sending the coding task. The e-mail says “Thank you for taking the time recently to speak with us” despite I was at the coding challange phase.
In summary, I spent my hours of coding for nothing. I have a feeling that they forgot to evaluate my code or even did not look it at all. Also, I should say that the process was very disorganized and unclear.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Tons of OOP related questions non-stop in one hour. "What is X", "what is Y". I did not see such an interview.

Just classic leetcode interview like you would do years ago interviewrs are nice but the interview process is outdated. After the leetcode you get a generic software discussion interview but with no mantion of ai or anything like that at all.

2 round 1st is DSA one easy and one medium problem followed by hiring manager round where project discussion is going on where deep dive into the projects focus is majorly on the architecture
In interviews, generic logic questions test clear thinking, assumptions, and reasoning under pressure, not factual knowledge. Interviewers want to see how candidates approach problems and explain conclusions calmly and logically.
