Over a 2 month period, I had 3 phone calls with 2 different people (presumably one “screener” and then the hiring manager, twice). The last call I had, the hiring manager told me the next step would be an in-person meeting with the rep I would be supporting, In South Orange County (I live in and the position was in Los Angeles), and the in person wouldn’t be until 2 weeks after this call. At this point, I’d been interviewing for over a month. The hiring manager N E V E R got back to me to schedule, never replied to the follow up attempts I made. Two days ago, I got an email from ABM HR stating that they were going to move forward with another candidate. Seriously... I already started a new position a month ago, but geez, imagine if I really believed the lady when she said I was going to be a perfect fit and she was scheduling the in person for my benefit.
