Je travaille chez KPMG à temps plein depuis plus d'un an

    Avantages

good benefits, decent salary, great view from office

    Inconvénients

went to desk hoteling - people end up sharking and spending too much time looking for a space; management for the group i was in - beyond playing favourites - didn't even reprimand senior managers for asking levels below to re-direct billable hours to non-billable so it wouldn't ruin the budget (but would hurt the associate's total needed billable hours)

J'ai travaillé chez KPMG à temps plein plus d'un an

    Avantages

So I was promoted to senior and shortly quit. However, I was in audit for 2 years. KPMG itself has great perks (that I think are better than other big four firms). I was in audit, so there was more cons to pros. The firm itself is GREAT on per diem. So if you are traveling a lot, plan on making some good $$ just from per diem. The people are bright, yet chill, which I really like. Although I am at a different big four firm in a different practice all together, KPMG will always be my favorite.

    Inconvénients

Downsides of working in AUDIT (not KPMG). The hours are LONG, the pay is LOW and the work is boring. You are testing things that already happened and are so deep in the weeds, that you lose sight of the big picture. There is high turnover, always low on staff. If you are working on a public engagement, beware. Those are the worst hours by far. It will be hard to stay fit during busy season because you literally will have breakfast, lunch, dinner plus snacks during your 15+ hour day. Other cons (that is specific to audit, NOT KPMG) is that it's hard to transfer out of Audit. I tried to do so and I would have had to wait another busy season and another year and a half to see an increase in salary and a permanent change in position. That is why I left the firm.
