    Some of the employees are great to work with.

    Inconvénients

    SugarCRM has a very long way to go. Company culture is awful... Certain managers use intimidation and embarrassment to get their way. If you disagree with them, watch out! Depts are siloed and there is little collaboration or communication. Trust is lacking and with consistent layoffs there is a sense of fear. Sales struggles due to the staleness of the product.

    The company isn't going to go anywhere unless you address the issues within upper management and why people are so unhappy. Start with investing in your employees and maybe the product issues will start to work themselves out. Stop making excuses for treating people poorly.

    More weekly catered food for employees. It can add up at times eating out. More volunteering events. New CEO is doing great so far. At first it seemed as though it would be a daunting task with a new CEO but Craig is transparent and wants to see SugarCRM be the top dominator in the CRM world.

    Everyone is welcoming and friendly, even senior staff are approachable. I honestly can't say a bad thing about any of the teams at Sugar. The sales guys are fun, HR people sweet as can be, desktop guys were always helpful, and of course Engineering rocks! The SugarCon events are great.     Food isn't catered for everyone like most tech companies. The engineering team gets lunch catered once weekly but others teams have felt less valued. Avoid working under the CIO Kirk Fjeldheim.     Get back to your roots. Be the plucky CRM that's better at the medium scale, 50 - 500 users. Big user counts mean big dollars, but they also mean big problems that you're not setup to address. Gut your PM team and go poach from your moderately successful competitors, before they go to SFDC. Really listen to the people who work there, take stock in their wants and needs. If it means abandoning going public, so be it....
