    Avantages

The Monster story isn't over. But you have to find the reason to work for Monster. Is it money? Is it your co-workers? Is it that you really believe in the solutions? If you do. You will be happy in your role.

    Inconvénients

Turnover. Micromanagement at every level. Sales leaders that don't understand the products. A commission structure that no one understands. Many new people. Old rules that don't make sense today.

    Conseils à la direction

Look at the leadership at the field level. Look at the new territories. Field reps are not set up for success. Stop making excuses. Balance the territories. Fix the products. Then let the sales team sell. That is how you stop the madness.

    Avantages

the company does always try to do right by it employees. I have been here for longer than the majority of people who work here and can tell you for all its faults the company also seems to try and make things right. selling for a company that actually has a product that is tied to a noble cause. the ability to go into a client and say whatever it is you are trying to do in human capital we are willing to find a solution for you and if we don't have it we will build it.

    Inconvénients

animosity throughout the company. animosity in sales between reps (especially telesales) can make it painful to work in the office. take the management team too long to listen to reps and make changes (making us plug media in every deal in spite of the core products, driving down margins). the company says it wants to act more mobile but doesn't hold itself to that. sale operations is legitimately against the sales team. approvals on deals internally can last days yet we then plead with clients to sign in seconds. The new comp plan doesn't match up with company goals like they say it does.

    Conseils à la direction

listen to all levels of employees. create a better atmosphere internally where everyone isn't always freaked out about their jobs. when we have top down scare tactics it creates bad business practices. Regional Managers then freak out and Rep Level we push for deals that make no sense for the client or for Monster. Clearly define our goals. Not just internally but what they are to the street. CAREER PATH - we are in human capital yet we are terrible with internally managing career opportunities.

    Avantages

Decent pay and send out some fun swag for a few customers. Good colleagues as everyone is looking for a new job!

    Inconvénients

Management doesn't get it. Micro manage everything. There's no wonder they aren't the best anymore. I made a career mistake by going here with promises of leadership promotions. Glad I'm no longer under this horrible company. They don't care about the customer. Had a customer tell me they wouldn't work with MWW because of the leadership and how they handled each account. This place is scrambling for every penny to fluff their numbers for investors. Not innovative and can't lead in the human capital space

    Conseils à la direction

Get ride of your "regional Vice Presidents" as they aren't leading yet micro-managing. They are ruining your opportunity for growth.

    Avantages

There was a strong benefits package for my family and the Sales Reps were a fun group of people when we got together.

    Inconvénients

Poor Brand Recognition from the customer base in that any innovation was overlooked with pre-conceived notions of the company.

    Conseils à la direction

All you do with unrealistic quotas is drive poor behavior by sales managers to lower prices and turn your products into commodities

    Avantages

Excellent management that do not micromanage and let true sales professionals do what they do. The expectations are extremely reasonable, in regards to hitting bonus, and the pay for upper level account managers and sales managers are above average. They also cover any and all expenses regarding your personal vehicle, personal needs on the job, and travel.

    Inconvénients

The only "negative", which really isn't a negative, is they make you attend a very long training program with first year sales reps to Vice President of sales. I wish they would have divided the groups up based on experience so you wouldn't have to waste a lot of time during the class going over a lot of basic information. Again no big deal, but I had to put a negative.

    Conseils à la direction

Keep up the good work and rewarding your sales reps for the work they do.
