    Work life balance
    New leadership capable of making hard(right) decisions (after prior leadership refused to see the changing market)
    New parent company is a global leader in staffing

    Inconvénients

    5 years revenue decline, no bonuses paid out during that time. Multiple waves of layoffs in 2017 as new parent company tries to fix the balance sheet.

    Stop tweaking the product portfolio (job ad, premium job ads, super job ads, etc.) It's time to make a hard turn toward new products/services. Start listening to clients!

    Good working environment. No office politics

    Inconvénients

    - Technology is outdated and data is no longer valid
     - Solutions sold to customers are not as they claim to be
     - No marketing for Asia. You are a recruitment portal for goodness sake.

    Dress down environment

    Some great staff

    City centre location - easy accessible

    Good bonus structure if you are lucky enough to have a good call list to work from

    Non motivated staff

    Little communication from management to staff

    If people don't fit the mould you see them pushed out, often in a bullish, harsh and disturbing way
    Often sacked with little or no warning, and without reason

    Though dismissed by some posters the drug / drink culture is high, this is overlooked when mentioned to management.

    Monster could be a great place to work, behaviour breeds behaviour - but when bullish tactics are used and people are treated unfairly this breeds an unsettled culture

    Lack of good strategy, way behind the competition and products cannot keep up. A dieing company that can't hold on to good employees.

    Some good people...if anyone is remaining.

    Inconvénients

    Way too many people in upper management that have absolutely no clue how to run a business or how to manage people. Monster never does any market analysis or focus groups and has no idea what customers really need or want. They rely on decision makers who have no grasp of customer needs. Monster has way too many people with the "it's always been done like that" mentality. Monster hasn't even introduced a new product in eons and when they upgrade existing products they clearly don't test it with customers or even it's own sales people. There is order within Monster and everything seems to have no rhyme or reason as to why they make decisions. Monster has WAY too many sales people and has offices scattered about the US. Consolidate offices and get rid of 3/4 of your salesforce as it's a product that needs very little sales help. Honestly, this is one of the most dysfunctional, inexperienced and poorly managed organizations that I have ever been associated with. It's no wonder that they sold for a fraction of what they were worth only 10 years ago. Monster has zero room for advancement and as far as I can see will soon be a company in name alone as there is no doubt that Randstad will automate mostly everything and get rid of most of Monster's employees (which they have already started doing).

    Monster should let go of everyone that's been there more than 5 years because they are part of the problem. They have zero idea how a successful business should be run; not a clue. Stop taking the word of product managers who are so egotistical and clearly inexperienced that they don't take actual customer needs into consideration when releasing new products. Stop hiring senior leaders who aren't full time in the head office in Weston. For a company that wants to be transparent, hiring a CPO who splits his time between NY and Weston is absolutely idiotic...unless you don't plan on keeping that office open. If that's the case, then Randstad is nothing but scum.
