    Highly reliant on HOD applied culture
    Yesteryear practices by old-timers
    Mid-Management do not accept new ideas
    Inter-Departments are defensive when comes to work

    Changes are ongoing and hopefully CDL will be able to shorten the gaps. Overall an enviromental conscious RE developer which has the visions on conservation which is very remarkable in the industry.

    Avantages

    Work Life balance only tt's all about it

    Inconvénients

    Increasing workload without salary increment
    No review in salary for academic improvement
    Top mgmt doesnt care much to low level staffs
    Bonus may seem good, but basic salary is low, which doesnt make any different
    No time off / additional leave for people who work way more they required (including weekends)

    work life balance and that's about it

    Inconvénients

    the benefits not as good as what was mentioned during interview. During the interview, HR talks about the high bonus, but it didn't materialise for me as the company is cutting cost. Snr mgmt only cares about costs and bottom line and a lot of incompetent people at the top, including HOD level and a lot of favoritism practiced.

    review the current company structure and do a "clean up" to eliminate incompetency.

    Avantages

    Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing.

    Inconvénients

    Interviewers were extremely misleading about job description.
    Existing staff view themselves as too busy and important to get their hands dirty.
    Overdue and unwanted work is pushed to non-full timers as an excuse to give them "more exposure".
    No room for constructive feedback and discussions. 'My way or the highway' kind of mentality resulting in unhappy work environment. No two way communication.
    Employees are used and discarded after making full use of them.

    Please be more open about job descriptions and do not deceive, manipulate and hide anything the interviewees should know. Especially if there is only one person kind enough to apply for the role. At least it leaves room for them to reject the job and move on to better prospects rather than starting and finding out how messed up the culture of the company is. One that is seething with backbiting and gossiping.

    A family-oriented culture which has changed now
    Central working location
    Depending on your position, some hods are good

    Inconvénients

    Mgt sucks!
    Top down mgt
    Some hods are simply there for show while some treat their staff like slaves
    New mgt only cares about bottomline

    Avantages

    - good pay (for the level of job i do)
    - good work-life balance
    - stable company, stable job

    Inconvénients

    - backwards, centralized management mindset, no learning and growth opportunities
    - hired to do very low level, routine and supportive work on projects that i have no ownership at all (my previous job was driving projects, working directly with senior management and coaching new hires etc etc across Singapore and APAC)
    - during interview, hiring manager asked "are you trying to conceive?" and wanted the assurance that i could still commit to the job.
    - what do i get... a micro managing boss who shouts at me everyday
    - no staff communications at all (i have no idea what are the company portfolio, latest news and products, challenges and strategies, until i read on the internet which i don't bother now)
