Avantages
Company culture - Salesforce seems to actually walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Amazing manager with actual good people management skills and emotional intelligence, and according to him that was partially due to internal leadership training. Challenging work, interdisciplinary projects, interesting colleagues and customers. Space to be yourself. Great benefits, and a recognized name.
Inconvénients
Some colleagues identify a lot with their work and perhaps expect you to also care about IT and digital and the company line as much as they do. I worked in Germany with very good labor laws, benefits, etc. Not sure that's the case for all locations, and that is disappointing. After I resigned, two teammates opened up to me about their salaries - they were doing the same work as me, yet getting paid 30-50K more per year (before bonus). They were a bit older but we all did the same work, so it felt very strange and disappointing to find that out. Some interdepartmental silos, but not too bad.
