Avantages
The team I worked with was fantastic. Knight Point tried to keep its employees up to date on the current activities of the company, and the medical care was fantastic.
Inconvénients
Medical ended up costing me over $700/mo for my fiance and I. The plans were great, but considering I now have insurance outside of a company and I'm paying $600/mo for two people, I question how much KPS was paying of that insurance despite telling me I would be paying a percentage of it. Worse, I was mislead about advancement opportunities. A coworker, who was hired about six months prior to me, was promoted after 6 months. I was led to believe that the same could happen to me. Unfortunately, after over a year with the company, I was informed that the exact opposite was true. Last, the contract was bid super low. I was making about $4-5k under the average. To quote someone on the same contract when I asked about promotions, "the contract is bid so low that once you have the skills to get to tier 2, you could go to a different company and get paid far more."
