Avantages

Intralign offers training and their Intralign Academy for new PA graduates, which I found very helpful transitioning into this fast-paced field as a new grad. They offer great benefits that most smaller practices would not be able to offer. After your training period, you work autonomously in the field. Management, schedulers, and credentialing teams are all approachable and try their hardest to work with your needs. You also get to work in a variety of surgical fields, with different surgeons every day.

Inconvénients

Being in a surgical setting hours are unpredictable and some days may be long. You have to be flexible and ok with not knowing what your schedule is until the night before, and it can still change throughout the day. Depending on your team size, you may have more call hours each month and may have to take a holiday on call, however you do get paid for call hours which is a plus!

Avantages

Intralign has become the job where I hope to retire! Over the past year and a half, this company has opened my eyes to a world of new opportunities and I am thankful to be a part of it. I have grown more as an individual because of the mentors who have helped shaped me to be better than I've ever been. I look forward to come to work everyday and I look forward to the opportunities to come!

Inconvénients

One of the most frustrating parts of being a part of a growing organization has been the "revolving door". Not to point in any specific direction. Because with any new company will come changes to be made. My department has been short staffed for almost the last year, which has left for lower morale and some of the employees to become burned out. However, I do think things are looking up and the payoff will come!
