Avantages

Coworkers. Nothing else will keep you here.

Inconvénients

A novel could be written on the cons, but I'll list the highlights. Unethical practices Low standards for work quality Zero freedom, creativity or independent thoughts allowed Nepotism abounds Terrible pay and no incentives to try to be anything better than mediocre Keeping your head in the sand is the only way to survive Claims to be a Christian company. False. They sell Christian materials and that's the extent of it Zero respect for employees or their lives outside of the company Severly lacking in comparison to industry standards The CEO's only concerns are appearances, no substance Lowest morale, high turnover rate Deadlines are a joke Tension pervades every room, every meeting, every conversation. Never knowing when the other shoe is going to drop

Avantages

Employees are like family despite horrid treatment by the CEO.

Inconvénients

CEO is a micromanaging tyrant who has no respect for the employees or for state or federal laws meant to protect employees. She has a hench list including all current directors and several long-term employees. If you disagree with her - you are not long for affiliation with the company. She refuses to bring employee policies into compliance with federal or state law and she refuses to agree to policies or practices that benefit the employees in any way. She is racist and discriminatory. The CEO professes to be Christian and absolutely conducts herself and her business in direct conflict with Christian values and principles. Salaries and wages are far below market standard. Horrible employee morale. The CEO is also forcing a contracted employee who desperately needs the work to write her thesis/dissertation for her master’s degree through Pepperdine. No ethics to be found.
