Inconvénients

Pays like another for profit or charity with no salary increases or adjustments for inflation If you’re looking for an Islamic culture, then with bad apples who have higher positions/ sway leadership suck all that away. No risk taking to grow, no faith in team members to try new strategies Never able to turn off

Avantages

Muslim Environment, value aligned. great co-workers

Inconvénients

Executive leadership is disorganized and frequently unprofessional, creating a chaotic work environment. Compensation is well below market, seemingly justified by an assumption that Muslim employees will accept lower pay in exchange for working at a mission-driven organization. Work hours are long, often exceeding nine hours per day. Although the company advertises flexible PTO, requests are closely scrutinized and frequently denied, with PTO effectively unavailable for the month leading up to Ramadan and during Ramadan itself—despite this being one of the busiest periods. There is significant turnover within the Shura (senior leadership), largely attributable to ineffective executive leadership. Leadership just want people to agree with them. Anything outside of this will result in bad performance ratings. There is a lot of religious abuse. We make duaa before and after meetings but spend the whole meeting talking poorly of others.
