Inconvénients
- Stunted Development: Intuitive likes 2 year plans for Job Rotation or Promotion. You will happier to ignore the 2 year speech and set expectations with yourself it’ll be 3 or more years. The company is conservative on headcount and there’s strong political forces to move Internally. You must get permission before being allowed to apply internally and that permission is not granted and will work against your effort to try to leave to another team. - Attrition: It is a revolving door, you are overworked and underpaid for the market. People will make jokes about you being ancient if you’ve been at the company longer than 4 years. For the reason above people leave to competition or other opportunities to be paid more or promoted to their next role due to friction in their pay & development. - Leadership: Leadership in the middle management space has an issue, there’s teams with great managers and directors that everyone wants to work on and others that people stay away from like the plague and it shows in the open backfill positions that have stayed open for a noticeably long time.
