    Avantages

    Ample opportunity and support to succeed. I am never bored and have plenty of direction and encouragement to complete quality work. I see this place as a long-term employment option and I have absolutely no desire or plans to leave anytime soon.

    Inconvénients

    Key stakeholders can be resistant to change. This can be frustrating at times due to the need to continuously improve versus keeping things the way they have always been for the sake of comfort.

    While management does direct people to continuously improve, I believe continually communicating the need to accept/adopt change for continuous improvement is a must.

    Avantages

    Benefits are incredible. Employees and managers know what needs to be done to be successful and to meet goals. Good people.

    Inconvénients

    President has no strategic vision and spends most of his time in details. He does not appear to understand basic production requirements. Poor communication skills.

    Train the presidents before transferring them to new locations.

    Avantages

    I started out as a temporary employee and was converted to a regular employee in 8 months. I feel the pay here is great compared to similar positions in the area. Lots of room for growth in production; lots of employees been here 15+ years; great camaraderie with co-workers; benefits are awesome.

    Inconvénients

    Need to hire more people to be able to achieve goals.

    Avantages

    Very good benefits with generous vacation time and insurance co-pays that are kept as low as possible. Pay is probably average or a little better. Continuous improvement and safety are high priorities. I think that management has been pretty good and ideas from the shop floor are considered when making decisions. This is a pretty small company so there aren't a lot of layers to get through when bringing concerns to management.

    Inconvénients

    Much of the work is monotonous for the shop floor work. Problems with effective scheduling is a cause of stress and requires employees to work overtime with very little notice.

    Be careful not to get tunnel vision on particular performance metrics at the cost of overall efficiency. Continue the focus on employee benefits and providing a flexible work environment.
